OUR STORY

Her friends and family suggested that she take advantage of her passion and knowledge that, for Chiara, are “ways of life”: going to fancy or rustic country restaurants, drawing inspiration from “star” Chefs and young Cooks, exploring other countries’ cuisine. Understanding food and how to cook it, wine pairing, competently navigating gourmet shops and booths at the market, selecting porcelain, linens, silver and flowers.
To possess the capacity to coordinate all organisational aspects for a successful Cocktail Party, a Luncheon, a Dinner.
The “adventure” of La Cucina di Berenice started organising pre-Theatre Aperitifs, Extended Cocktail hours after the “opening” at La Scala, Receptions for Baptisms, Holy Communions, Graduations with this premise . . . eventually expanding its competencies and market to take on
Garden parties, Buffets on the terrace, Office Business Luncheons, Gala Dinners in villas and much, much more for a vast Private and Corporate clients (in Milan and London).
With time, Chiara has carefully constructed a team of Suppliers and Collaborators so that she may offer Catering, Banqueting and Cooking Services to Fashion Industries, Banks, Legal Firms and, naturally, a very particular Private clients.
Even the media has contributed to her fame – Il Corriere della Sera, ViviMilano, Grazia, Donna Moderna, Tg5, La Repubblica, etc.
La Cucina di Berenice is a reliable Partner capable of optimizing budgets without ever forfeiting quality or service.

    Chiara Ambrosi was born in Milan, but has considered herself an “adopted” Englishwoman for over 30 years. She lives and works between Milan and London. She is well acquainted with the United Kingdom and loves its “mood,” landscapes, history and culture, as well as . . . its meteorological conditions. She appreciates the English customer oriented mentality, their sense of civic responsibility and understated style. Since 1980, Chiara has been responsible for Public Relations, Press Releases, and Advertising – a job that has allowed her visit many Countries, compare different cultures, discover and appreciate different work methods, ways of life, and…Cuisine. Keeping with family tradition (her parents’ elegant house in Milan was, for many years, a convivial and cultural meeting point, where her mother taught her the “art of entertaining”), she enjoys inviting friends over and preparing the best regional specialties of Italian cuisine. Chiara has the privilege of staying at prestigious Hotels and frequenting the best Restaurants, and enjoys learning more about the cooking of the great Chefs that “appear on the scene” in some of the most famous European cities. A wealth of experience has allowed her to refine her high quality culinary culture, making it become a way of living that she has never stopped pursuing. This is the mark that she wanted to give La Cucina di Berenice: excellent quality born from authentic knowledge and time-developed style. Chiara is supported by a solid group of Suppliers and Collaborators. She constantly develops new projects and makes new connections with the valuable help of his professional partner, Alessandro Casarin.
